This is the labor campaign.
I couldn't be prouder to stand on the side of working people, including @RWDSU, which celebrates 87 years of fighting for working people next week.
As @NYSAFLCIO President Mario Cilento reminds us, we're all in this together. NY is #UnionStrong. And I'm running for Congresss to take on the corrupt and powerful, champion labor, and deliver for working families in NY.
At 12:01 am this morning, 3,500 Long Island Railroad workers made the incredibly difficult decision to go on strike. It's a hardship for them, their families, and the riders whom they serve.

NYSNA nurses are receiving widespread support from 45 labor unions, representing over 2.5M workers! Check out the latest open letter supporting union nurses.
Today, along with a group of my colleagues (@RepMikeLawler, @RepDonBacon, @RepMikeTurner, @RepLaLota, @RepGarbarino, @RepBresnahan, & Rep. Chris Smith), I called on President Trump to reconsider his Executive Order regarding collective bargaining rights of unionized federal workers.
We support efforts to improve government efficiency—but applying sweeping national security exemptions to agencies like SSA, FCC, GSA, and HHS risks doing more harm than good. These agencies are vital to public service. Undermining collective bargaining in these spaces weakens morale, accountability, and performance.
That’s why, alongside this letter, I introduced the Protect America’s Workforce Act with @RepGolden. This bipartisan bill restores a responsible, targeted approach—preserving bargaining rights and reinforcing the role that the worker’s voice plays in strengthening government.
We don’t have to choose between security and fairness. We can—and must—protect both.

Dismantling the Department of Education will leave kids behind, strain local budgets, and put good union jobs at risk.
None of this makes sense for America’s working families.
ACTION: Cuts to federal funding will have serious consequences for working people & their families. Call your representative in Congress and ask them to vote against any budget resolution that cuts funding for healthcare, infrastructure & public education: https://t.co/uzMOArI0Pi
@NYSAFLCIO@RepNicole it is impossible to cut hundreds of billions from Medicaid without real harm to real people. The target number needs to be greatly reduced.

This morning President Mario Cilento spoke at the NYS Senate Labor Committee meeting about the legislative priorities of NY's union movement. Thank you Chairwoman @NYSenatorRamos for the invitation!
2M SEIU Members 🤝 13M AFL-CIO Members
SEIU just joined America’s biggest federation of labor unions, the @AFLCIO. Together, we’re taking on corporate union busters and changing the rules so every worker who wants a union can have one. Let’s do this!
We’re thrilled to share breaking news:
The AFL-CIO and @SEIU are reuniting with a new, long-term effort to make it easier for workers to win a voice on our jobs with our unions.
There’s power in unity!
