Tesla Insurance is on track to launch soon in Washington state, as the company has filed for a new auto insurance program in the state.

The proposed start date is September 1, 2026. The program will have two safety scores: Safety Score and Safety Score with FSD (Supervised).

This would be the 16th U.S. state to get Tesla Insurance.

Effective today, we are:

1) Doubling Claude Code’s 5-hour rate limits for Pro, Max, and Team plans;

2) Removing the peak hours limit reduction on Claude Code for Pro and Max plans; and

3) Substantially raising our API rate limits for Opus models.

We’ve agreed to a partnership with @SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity.

This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.

A lot of comments talk about humans needing purpose.

Working 10 hours a day for a greedy corporation that does not value you as a human being, does not pay enough; just so you can cover taxes and bills and wait for death; is that your definition of purpose?

Slaving away 5 to 6 days a week while many parents leave their children in daycare all day, then "school"; those children grow up barely seeing you, without your care and love. And then you wonder why they resent you?

There are also people who want children but refuse to bring them into the world because of financial constraints.

And even for those without children; do you never use your imagination and wonder what life would be like with true freedom, without the burdens of work and money?

Once again, I say please pause, ans expand your thinking.

You live in a paradise world.

There is so much to do, to explore, to create.

Every human being is unique, and each person has something meaningful to contribute to society. How is that for purpose?

Your statement is true if goods & services output doesn’t rise dramatically due to AI/robots, but false if it does.

In a normal economy, issuing more money simply increases the dollar price of the existing output of goods & services, meaning people do NOT get more stuff.

If AI/robots massively increase goods & services output, then you actually MUST issue dollars to people or there will be massive disinflation. Prices are simply the ratio of goods & services output to number of dollars.
