Report Civil Servants Living Above Their Means — CCB Chairman Urges Nigerians.
Chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), Dr. Abdullahi Bello, has called on Nigerians to report public servants who appear to be living beyond their legitimate income. He said such reports would prompt investigations and possible prosecution before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
Dr. Bello made this appeal on Friday during a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Tribune corporate office in Abuja, accompanied by members of the Bureau’s management. He emphasized that many public servants are often unknown until they assume office, and any sudden display of wealth should raise red flags.
The CCB, he said, is responsible for enforcing ethical standards in public service, including investigating officials who fail to declare their assets or breach the code of conduct.
He has been released. Now, it is time to help him. There is no target. Let's help him go to school.
