There are over 15 guys here and not one person thought “this is not okay” you see too many men will rather stay silent or go along with sexual harassment than be the one to call it out. And same people will be the first to say “not all men”
Suicide rates for women went down once they were able to access divorce. Also the rate of men dying by poison went down.
But yeah women were so happy before feminism and choices 😄
@Mochievous I see lots of “what’s the misogyny here” and I’m not shocked, because misogyny has become so normalized that many misogynistic people can’t even see it when it hits them in the face.
The shock Lagosians experience when they discover this is a norm in some part of the country is usually enthralling.
Nigeria alone has a lot of culture shock to go round.
Your kids will not thank you for this, neither will your husband. You will develop resentment over not being properly appreciated for sacrifices you weren't asked to make and your family will be baffled when you one day explode at them.
male colleagues [single & married] can travel for work at a moment's notice, meanwhile married women have to do permutations and calculations about their household before they can travel for work. eventually they start excluding you from important work travel all together.
Men like shouting “logical” till you hit a nerve & it’s “emotions” everywhere. They wailed in my @ cos I pointed out “wayward” girls still get married.
Mind u this isn’t an opinion but a fact.
Their fragile egos delude them into believing only “good girls” get suitors, clowns😂
Many years ago at one of my earliest jobs, my colleague and I went to drop off a letter at the head office of a big corporation at the time. The secretary asked us to fill a form with our names and where we were coming from etc. After I filled mine, she looked at my name then (cont’d)
I saw a reel where a woman said "where are the trad wives who are 40, 50 years old? Why aren't they making these barefoot in the kitchen videos? Why is it always a 20 something year old?" Every woman knows the answer.
A moving woman will eventually understand feminism.
It is sacrosanct to your self actualisation that you see yourself worthy of the highest form of respect as a human being and not anything less because you’re a woman.
Again, a moving woman WILL learn feminism.
