To the Goddessa fan who wanted me to help her write something for her fave, here you go. ❤️
Dear Goddessa,
I think one of the saddest things about your time on this show is that so many people formed an opinion of you before they ever really gave themselves the chance to experience you.
They decided who Goddessa was from the outside and, unfortunately, some never moved past that first impression.
They never stayed long enough to see the person behind the opinion.
Because there was so much more to you.
You were confident, outspoken, emotional, stubborn, funny, affectionate and sometimes completely unserious. You had your own way of expressing yourself, your own personality and your own way of seeing the world.
And you were human.
You were not going to get everything right. You were not going to behave perfectly every single day. Nobody in that house did.
But I wish more people had allowed themselves to actually watch you before deciding they knew you.
Because when you take away the opinions, the labels and everything people had already decided about Goddessa, there was simply Chiamaka.
A young woman experiencing something completely new, making friendships, having conversations, laughing, getting emotional, figuring things out and living her life in front of millions of people.
And I think that deserved to be experienced before it was judged.
You may have left the house weeks ago, but I still wanted to give you your flowers because your time on this show was worth acknowledging.
You were part of this season.
You gave us something to watch.
You gave people something to talk about.
You made connections, created memories and left a little piece of yourself behind.
And I hope you never allow the opinions of people who never took the time to know you to become your opinion of yourself.
May you continue to grow into the woman you are becoming. May you become even more secure in who you are and never feel the need to shrink yourself simply because someone has decided they do not understand you.
I pray that life outside Big Brother brings you people who are willing to know you before judging you. People who will listen to you, laugh with you, challenge you when necessary and still love you afterwards.
May God bless you with opportunities that match your potential. May your career flourish, may your dreams become reality and may you have more than enough reasons to be proud of yourself.
May you find love that feels safe, friendships that feel genuine and a life that gives you the freedom to be completely yourself.
And when you look back at this season, I hope you remember that not everybody saw you through the opinions that were formed about you.
Some of us actually watched.
Some of us experienced Goddessa.
And some of us saw Chiamaka.
Your flowers, Goddessa. 🌹
Thank you for coming into this show and giving us a piece of yourself.
You may not have been here until the end, but you were still part of the story.
May everything ahead of you be bigger, brighter and far kinder than anything you left behind.
And to the Goddessa fan who asked me to write this for her fave, I hope this is the one. 😂❤️
Your girl has received her flowers.
@inDrive it’s been over 24hrs!!!!!!
3 emails later and NO positive response on holding your driver accountable for the damage he caused my friend and I.
My head was fucking stitched!!!! My friend hit her head and strained her legs and y’all are asking me redundant questions about the drivers detail that I already provided.
There’s been no word from the driver in over 24hrs!!! We’ve been in pain and no single tangible statement from you guys yet. I WILL NOT REST!!! Not until y’all take responsibility for this, pay for damages and all our hospital expenses. Also, that driver has to take responsibility for the pain he has caused us.
I WILL NOT REST @inDrive
May God meet me in the places I don’t have the words to name. In the quiet moments when my mind is restless and my heart is tired, may He give me peace that doesn’t depend on having all the answers. And when I cannot see what lies ahead, remind me that I am still being guided.
One habit I picked up from someone I dated many years ago and I still practice till date is detailed apology.
In her words "Olayinka, I'm sorry is not a complete apology. What exactly are you sorry for?"
Aniya Harvey is putting love, dating and relationship rules to the test with Bombshell or Bye, weighing in on who should make the first move, second chances and what’s better left in the past. 🖤
