"The Palace of Eros" by Caro de Robertis is easily one of the better books I've read out of the endless slough of "feminist" Greek myth retellings. I'm notoriously picky about them and it was such a breath of fresh air.

i had my students read “The Metamorphosis” at the same time as i was having my students deeply think about how social media platforms set certain trends and keep pervasive problems such as racism, misogyny and violence alive. you can and should do both.
