It’s been quite a week for Federal employees. If anyone in my network knows of any academic/research/evaluation opportunities either in Austin, TX or open to remote, I’d love to chat as I consider what the future holds. So much is still up in the air, but just weighing options!

I have successfully defended my dissertation!
The last five years have been a journey, and I couldn't have done it without the tremendous mentorship of @rebeccakreitzer (who wrote an amazing thread about my dissertation work while she let my brain recover from today!).
Congrats to @KellenAKane@UNCPublicPolicy for defending his dissertation, which uses innovative methods and data to push the study of LGBTQ+ political and policy inequality in new directions. His work has shaped my own research and it's been a great honor to be his mentor. 🧵
