#CISDRocks @Crestview2 Building Relationships with my 1st graders by having optional google meets set up during the week. We have scavenger hunts, jokes, directed drawings, and story times. The kids love seeing their friends too.

#CISDROCKS @Crestview2 Ss got to choose from the writing board this week. Two of my students wrote "how-to" papers on making chocolate milk. I love that they remembered to use transition words, capitals at the beginning of their sentences, and punctuation at the end.

Our 1st grade students got to visit the San Diego Zoo website and research an animal of their choice. They then wrote about it in activity on Seesaw called Non-Fiction Animal Research.
