Over 1.2 million people crowded the Plaza de Cibeles and surrounding roads in Madrid on Sunday, June 7, in order to participate in the Mass presided by Pope Leo XIV, as well as the following Corpus Christi procession. In his homily, Pope Leo XIV highlighted that the procession reminds us that Christ comes to find us in the settings of our daily lives and is close to those who are most in need.
Imagine you're driving normally on the highway when suddenly... a "superhero" beaver appears, dragging a massive Christmas tree right across the road, forcing an entire line of trucks to slam on the brakes and wait patiently for "him" to cross! 🦫🎄🚚🤣
This is hands-down the most unexpected and hilarious Christmas scene of the year!
#LeoneXIV: oggi compio 70 anni, rendo grazie al Signore, ai miei genitori e ringrazio quanti hanno avuto un ricordo nella preghiera, tante grazie a tutti #Angelus
30-YEARS AGO:
A Chicago #Bears fan jumped out of his seat to catch the extra point and into the tunnel live on Monday Night Football.
🤯🤯🤯
The man became a hero after this.
With filial gratitude, we offer the Holy Father our most sincere good wishes, asking God to support him in his ministry and to grant him joy in serving the Church.
Happy birthday, Pope Leo! Ad multos annos!
