It would take far more than a month to honor the contributions of queer and transgender New Yorkers.
From the Cercle Hermaphroditos in 1895, the first trans advocacy group in the United States, to the drag balls of the Harlem Renaissance, to the Stonewall uprising, to the Lesbian Herstory Archives, to ACT UP!, founded in 1987 as queer people fought for their lives while the Reagan administration looked away, New York City's history has long been shaped by queer and trans New Yorkers.
To all our queer and trans neighbors: you deserve a City where you can afford to live safely, openly, and joyfully.
Happy Pride, New York City.
A reminder that if you shop on https://t.co/E5E94Nv2ua you can select your favorite indie bookstore and all of the profits of your purchase will go directly to them! They frequently run different sales (including free shipping) with a massive selection of books to choose from !!
Juniper Blessing, 19, has been identified as the Trans teenager who was murdered in Seattle, WA on May 10, 2026. RIP Juniper, I am so very sorry this happened to you.

@LlKECALLSTOLIKE The concept of Eddie finding Buck cleaning his house from top to bottom with some sort of scent neutralizer because Buck insists that something is still off in his new home. But when Eddie walks in it almost smells like a hospital with how far Buck has gone.
