@pernilleripp I teach first grade- my favorite read aloud is Poppy by Avi. It’s a beautiful story of a tiny mouse that battles an owl to save her family. There is rich vocabulary and a wonderful story of perseverance. Every group I’ve read it to has absolutely loved it!
