I didn’t have much of a say in what was done to our old house but apparently I am designing and picking everything exterior and interior for my new one. My brain is fried and I just hope it turned out how I think it will in my head.
Tomorrow we get to start the process of building our new home. There are no words for how happy this makes me. My little family needs something good after all that has happened. It’s not happening overnight but soon we will be back together.
Tonight I feel so defeated. To see an empty lot where your home once stood will break your heart. 20 years of memories and all of Kenzies things from birth just gone and I can never get them back.
My worst nightmare came true early this morning. I lost my home and everything in it. I thank the good lord above that my family and my fur babies got out safely. Things can be replaced but the people we love can’t.
Nothing like your husband running into a pile of broken concrete in your new car and messing it up to ruin your day! This wouldn’t have happened if I still had my wrangler!!
@SamNickell_08 Exactly! I have never once Brooks on my road in the winter. Just goes across the mountain and never goes on the side roads. He needs to check some of these roads that the state roads never touches.
I wish everyone was as excited to see as my puppy. He may have some separation issues but he still acts like I’m the best thing when I come in the door!
Truly thankful for the friends I have that love Mack like their own. She got hurt playing softball tonight and they made sure she was carried to the Jeep and all her gear was together while trying to keep myself calm. Then bringing crutches to the house at 10:30 so we had them.
