The incoming US tariffs are a betrayal of the bond between our countries and an attack on BC and Canadian families. We are standing up for BC's workers and businesses: supporting the billions in national retaliatory tariffs from Ottawa and launching immediate BC counter-measures.

[David Eby @Dave_Eby]

If America thinks tariffs will crush the resolve of Canadians – they’re wrong.

We will not roll over.

BC is stepping up to do our part by:
❌ Pulling US liquor off shelves
❌ Excluding US products from government purchases

Premier David Eby has declared gender-based violence an “epidemic” and is calling on ministers in his cabinet to deliver on the needs of women fleeing violence. https://t.co/qBUx4OkeTY

[David Eby @Dave_Eby]

British Columbia has lost an incredible advocate and a fighter for justice in the passing of Dan Coulter. We will keep Dan and his family in our hearts and remember him in the work that we do.

Gutted to hear this news today. Our province is better because of John, my heart is heavy with both sorrow for the loss and gratitude for knowing him. Sending thought and love to Ellie, Evan, Nate, & family and to all those who are sharing in this grief today.

[David Eby @Dave_Eby]

John Horgan’s death leaves us with heavy hearts. John loved this province and its people. He sought to build a better, stronger British Columbia for everyone.

His beloved wife, Ellie, and sons, Evan and Nate, are in our thoughts and prayers.

[BC Legislature @BCLegislature]

A milestone worth celebrating: 49 women are set to serve in the #BCLeg 43rd Parliament, marking the first time in BC's history that more women than men will take their seat in the Legislative Chamber (also a first for a Canadian provincial legislature) #WomensHistoryMonth #BCpoli

Elenore Sturko knew about Brent Chapman’s racist and extremist views before joining him. Will you speak out now, @elenoresturko? #bcpoli

[Mike Starchuk @MikeStarchuk]

This is shocking - @elenoresturko knew about Brent Chapman’s views before she joined his team. In her own words, she called him an extremist and a conspiracy theorist. Is this why she’s been completely silent about his racism and his suggestions that mass shootings aren’t real?

[Kelli Paddon @kellipaddon]

Racism, homophobia, and mocking the Holocaust. These aren’t isolated incidents. Chapman is consistently spreading hate. Rustad’s refusal to act makes it clear: the BC Conservative Party welcomes these views.

[Spencer Chandra Herbert @SChandraHerbert]

We’ve all seen BC Conservative Brent Chapman's racist attacks on Muslims and Indigenous people, and his offensive Holocaust comparison.

What hasn't had much attention yet is his horrific ‘joke’ about violence against LGBTQ+ people at Pride.🧵

[Kelli Paddon @kellipaddon]

What about access to contraception? What about access to reproductive choice? We thought this issue was settled - clearly it’s not for John Rustad

[Niki Sharma @NikiSharma2]

Just unbelievable that John Rustad announced a "reproductive health" plan that doesn't mention abortion access or contraception. Not once.

Our rights are on the ballot this election.

[Kelli Paddon @kellipaddon]

This is a defining moment for John Rustad. Does he really have a line in the sand, or is hate welcome in his party?
