🚨 Cancer’s Hidden “Survival Shield” Just Got Exposed

Scientists have discovered that some cancer cells survive chemotherapy by going dormant and protecting themselves with a protein called GPX4. This protein acts like a shield, stopping a natural cell death process called ferroptosis.

Now, researchers have developed new compounds that can block GPX4. Once this shield is removed, these hidden cancer cells can no longer survive and they self-destruct from within.

This breakthrough is important because it targets the cells responsible for cancer relapse, offering new hope for treating recurring and hard-to-kill cancers.

🚨 5-Minute Cancer Shot? Here’s the Truth

England has introduced a fast new cancer injection that takes just 3–5 minutes to give. It can be used for up to 15 types of cancer, including lung, skin, and kidney.
But here’s the key detail—this isn’t a brand-new cure. It’s a quicker version of an existing immunotherapy drug called Nivolumab, which helps the immune system fight cancer.

Before, patients needed long IV drips. Now, they can get a quick injection—saving time and making treatment easier.
It’s not a cure for all cancers, but it’s a big step toward faster, more convenient care.
