The heavens got a new angel today, an Irish one at that. One whose voice lit up the sky long before he went to heaven. One whose voice moved the hearts of people around the world. Glen was angelic and mystical. He was kind, loving, and talented. He leaves behind a family, a legion of friends, like Bono and my sweet brother, bobby who just hung with him in a pub in Ireland, connecting the way one does in a pub in Ireland.
Glen sang at both of my parents’ funerals. At my mother’s, he sang “Forever Young” while our Special Olympic athletes placed their medals on top of her casket. At my father‘s funeral, he sang with Bono and the entire church was transcended. He will be forever young, and he died way too young.
To those for whom he was family, my heart goes out to you. To those who love his music, keep listening. to those who believe in prayer, a new angel is up there to pray to. Amen. ❤️🩹
@its_The_Dr She should have sprayed him the first moment she was threatened instead of waiting until he turned his back. I am glad they stood up for themselves. But men like that are a danger to young girls. There is nothing to apologize for.
