Things I want for nurses week:
1. safe staffing
2. a hospital policy that pays nurses the hourly of the unstaffed position. Need 4 nurses at $30/hr and you only have 3 nurses on? Cool, those nurses are now making $40/hr, since you're expecting them to do the work of the missing.

On my way home yesterday, after 13 hours at the hospital, I drove past a car accident scene with 3 cops and 2 other men. Not a single mask in sight. Disrespectful to all of the exhaustion that healthcare workers endure to see such ignorance - so yes, I yelled out my window.
