@HarrisFanaroff There are restaurant toddlers and non-restaurant toddlers. It's just part of their nature. They'll be good dining companions at 3, excellent ones at 4, but at 18 months you might as well take a penguin. Hang in there!
@HarrisFanaroff This is my daughter. My son was not like this. I think kids just have their own style. The only thing that works is to AHF (always have food), but idk if yours is a big eater. We wait to put her in her seat until the last minute/when food is present. And yes, we go out less.
@clhubes Idk anything but my 4yo has loved the 1yo since she was born but I feel like he was naive to do so and tides will definitely turn so I bet your slow burn will be better in the long run.
Last week my son had a Christmas party for his fourth birthday. Santa came. In a few weeks he goes to his friend's Eras-themed party. When I told him, he asked, excitedly, if @taylorswift13 was going to be there. No, son, she's a wayyyyy bigger deal than Santa Claus.
Ah, the dawn of summer, when extremely privileged women wax nostalgic and wonder why my toddlers can’t just catch a lightning bug all day while I’m at work.
@thecahoonfamily@clhubes With kids I feel like there’s no such thing! I’ll pack literally everything and then some weird scenario happens and I come up short! Every time!
@clhubes Reading all the mad responses about packing for husband - ok, take 8 seconds off and remove him from equation and you’re still at 3.499 hours 😂
@jtrebach My favorite story about my OBGYN and ER nurse friends who shared a duplex was when a woman crashed her motorcycle outside and the doc ran out telling her not to worry because there was an er nurse coming.
@Lawmamabear1@clhubes Seriously what the fuck - why is there always this surprise news for every age. It’s not cute it’s annoying. Sorry, I think I’m in my f’n 40s.
