@David3oh5 This is actually the first time I’ve written anything publicly about the hell that was 2009-2010. But I’ve touched on some of it in a different context in my podcast. I’ll post links to a few pertinent episodes.

And then having the audacity to talk about the two greatest commandments as though they have ANY interest in loving their neighbor as themselves. What they love is power and control and a political party, which is the antithesis of everything we know of Christ.

They *cannot* allow changes to this structure because it would take away the thing they care about most: POWER. I want to throw up when I see these men fighting vehemently to deny women equality and to have the right to fire anyone who treats transgender persons with dignity.

Their ideology is toxic because *they* are toxic. What many of these “men of God” want is power, and anything or anyone who stands in the way of that must be trampled. The structure of the COG created these monsters, and any change to that system is a threat to their power.

It’s been two weeks. I still can’t wrap my brain around the fact that he’s gone. My “little” brother, my close friend, my fiercest protector in a world where nobody but he seemed to know I needed one. I’m so glad his he at peace with Jesus, but I miss him so much. #KyleKristopher
