Thank you @SenSusanRubio for exercising a fair & balanced approach to SB 672. This bill provides an opportunity for emerging adults who have served atleast 25 yrs, to go before the Board of Parole Hearings & take responsibility for the harm they have caused.

Day 13: Incarcerated youth are denied essential tools for learning and growth when placed in solitary confinement, making it harder for them to re-enter society.
How can we expect our future generation to succeed when they are denied their basic needs? This is torture to the body, mind and soul. We must advocate for alternatives that focus on their development and well-being, as confinement devastates mental health.

Nevada, it’s time to join the states that believe in redemption. ‘Second look’ laws can help reduce our prison population and give hope to those who have changed. #BeyondLWOP https://t.co/usVYeIFI1I
We honor the memory of John Czere, one of our beloved members of the Incarcerated Children’s Advocacy Network (ICAN) who suddenly passed away last week. Fondly referred to as ‘Papa Bear’ by some in our community, John was sentenced to life without parole as a child in Louisiana.
We are sad to hear the passing of one of our Speaker's Bureau members, John Czere, who passed away last week. John was an amazing man who loved to talk and share his stories. He was a juvenile LWOP from Louisiana but relocated to Florida. He will truly be missed by his community.
