@2450fall18#reflection loved what I’ve learned from this class, now I look at the people around me and our interactions so much differently. Thanks for a great semester!
@2450fall18#opinion unsure if I really believe in info fiduciary systems working out in the end. our data is valueable and will be used to inform internal/external decisions anyway & even if the info is anon, it could be linked back to us. It’s 2018, privacy is not a thing
@2450fall18#reflection to some extent I dont care about my privacy, because I feel like my data is one of so many others’, and therefore it’s not that valueable to me. So ill click ok to sharing my data with platforms to help them out even if i know theyll sell my data
@2450fall18#reflection interesting to hear about the cascade model of influence, I’ve always identified it (information flow) in social circles but didnt know there was a term for it
@2450fall18 the rich get richer— people who connect with those they know online is good for their well-being, but people who are lonely in “real life” but make more of their friends online may not be as well off #reflection
@2450fall18 learning face-to-face in class is often more effective than in online classes. We could have other tabs open in the latter! Simply less present #reflection
@2450fall18 Mere exposure effect is effective, and probably more so face-to-face. For #ex, remote workers that rely on video conferencing are likely less connected to each other than workers who see each other every day
