@2022_brenda Yes!!
I have always worried about the lives of those who age out of the foster care system. They are too often left without guidance or help in the world. There needs to be something in place to help these young adults find their way through the world.
@2022_brenda Such an awful thing to happen to this poor girl. Far too many innocent children are failed by the very systems that we put in place to protect them. I hope we can change this in the very near future.
April is also National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Here is a link to help report child abuse in every state in the nation. Keep our children safe ❤️ https://t.co/hlgpyeUiNL
April is National Autism Awareness month. It is important that we speak about autism. Many people treat autism like it is taboo and should not be talked about however, that is very much apart of the problem. https://t.co/WjOZZl1vm7
There have been so many families separated during the Trump administration. We need more people advocating for these children and their rights in the United States.

@TaylorKrauseSW This assignment turned out to be one of my favorites just because I was able to keep up to date and spread awareness to various things happening in the nation and around the world.
Social media has enabled me to be able to keep up with what is currently happening in the world as well as spread awareness to things that are important to myself and to help people of this country who face challenges daily. I plan to keep using social media the same way I am now
@DailySocialWork It is so heartbreaking to see numbers like this. I cannot believe that there is 618,399 children abused in the United States, and 1,713 fatalities due to child abuse. It makes me sick just thinking about numbers like this.
@TaylorKrauseSW IDEA is such a great policy that helps around 6 million students from the day they are born all the way to the day they graduate high school. I hate to read that there may be issues with underfunding something this great. This policy helps so many people.
Roe v. Wade was started by Norma McCorvey, a woman who did not want anymore kids. Roe v. Wade, still one of the most controversial cases in America, was decided in January of 1973 that banning abortions was illegal under the fourteenth amendment.

@TaylorKrauseSW This is such a great act to help those in the disabled community. Everyone should have access to an education that works best for them and helps them thrive and have a bright future.
@DailySocialWork Madelyn, this is such an important policy for children. It is so important that we have this to help ensure that children in safe and loving homes. Thank you so much for sharing.
Roe v Wade was passed in 1973 in order to help women have access to safe abortions. Before this, women’s rights to privacy and the right to choose were violated. So many people died and risked their futures to help these women have a choice over their own bodies and future.
@2022_brenda Those numbers are so startling. While I knew that there was quite a bit of sexual assault in the United States, I did not know it was THIS much. That’s so mind blowing.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness month. Here is a website for more information on how to get involved in awareness, graphics for social media, and other general information. https://t.co/oYCYzTFV7P
This is so tough. These people are going through so much right now. While they have 1.4 million people without running water in Ukraine, there is a total of 6 million people in Ukraine who are struggling daily to have clean drinking water.

@2022_brenda Brenda, yes!
There is such a great need for foster parents all over this country. We need more foster parents for all of these children in need of a safe and loving home. Thank you so much for sharing
