this is about as perfect as an ad can get. no big superstar or elaborate concept. just a simple and visceral reflection of what sports fandom actually feels like
Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it.
Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying.
Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence."
Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."
Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter.
They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created.
One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility."
Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies.
That's the metered intelligence business model.
And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
The Olympic drone pilots are the best thing that happened the games, unsung heroes, period.
The coverage this year is officially on another level. We can finally feel so much closer to the action, it's pure magic, unreal.
Is it just me, or is this the best upgrade in years?
One of the most incredible athletic performances post injury - Lindsey Vonn tore her left ACL and meniscus 7 days ago.
Over the past week she posted footage of her rehabbing at such a high level of function. Today she completed a training run in preparation for the Winter Olympics, hitting a top speed of 120kph on the run.
To add to it she had a partial right knee replacement in 2024. Too remarkable not to share!
I’m absolutely astounded that Americans can see an unmarked vehicle with “agents” that don’t identify themselves shoot an American citizen - a mother with stuffed animals inside her car - and just say, “Oh well, she should have just complied.”
I’m logging off this app for the rest of the day. America is going to crap faster than I could have ever imagined.
For a player just 22-years-old, Jamie Chapman has already notched up an impressive career of accolades and highlights...
But the Titans star sees her work off the field representing the club as one of her best achievements 👇

My story of Olympic spirit from Athletics on Saturday.
I sat by a lovely man from Australia. He kept pulling out new flags from his bag & waving them. I asked him about it,
“I bring the 9 smallest nations flags with me as they won’t have many people in the stands” 🥹

Been watching Rafa #Nadal at #RolandGarros since the beginning. Even losing in straight sets in the first round he still did himself proud.
"It’s his career, his craft. He will never be better at anything else (except perhaps parcheesi), and if he wants to follow his friend Roger #Federer’s advice and “squeeze all the juice out of the lemon” then why begrudge him the full journey if he can accept the bumps in the road and dents in the chassis?
There are all kinds of end games."
