The one thing I like about Mastodon: no obnoxious ads and heavy competition for useful clients. The one thing I dislike: that this means that recommendations for Mastodon client apps are hard to come by.

@jayforeman Kind of expected a Map Men episode about the Tube Map, but that would arguably made that episode "Maps Men" and be less about London. Doesn't preclude the possibility of the Tube Map being the subject of a future episode, though.

Why does @YouTube insist on serving an unskippable two minute advert on a video that lasts 15 seconds? This is why ad blocking clients are popular. Bandwidth is neither cheap nor plentiful.

One year out from starting at my current job, and I can say without hyperbole that I have been more empowered at my current job than I have ever been at my last job. And knowing what has happened in the year sine I left my last job, I have definitely made the right choice.
