My newest paper is out! I really like this one because it has data from yeast, worms, naked mole rats, mice, monkeys, and human centenarians! Its title is "The mitochondrial derived peptide humanin is a regulator of lifespan and healthspan"

@NIHAging age is the greatest risk factor for so many diseases, and by tackling why we age and what can be done about it would serve the greatest good.
A debate titled "How to Defeat Aging" will be held on May 27, 2024, in San Francisco, featuring two distinguished scientists, @fedichev and @aubreydegrey , both proponents of radical life extension with biotechnology, with opposing views. Fedichev believes aging in humans is irreversible but can be slowed or stopped, while de Grey argues for the potential of rejuvenation to reverse aging. The debate will discuss the feasibility of these approaches in light of recent scientific advancements and growing clinical evidence, aiming to determine which method can deliver clinical therapeutics that can significantly extend human life within the next 10 years. The event, hosted by the Foresight Institute, Say Forever, and Open Longevity, will be accessible both offline and online. The winner, chosen by a jury, will receive a $10,000 prize to further their research.

@jorllaw Olive oil mostly, but it has a low smoke point. If you need to cook hot, I like avocado oil. Also, algae oil looks interesting, but I haven't tried it yet.
1/ Is there a credible plan to solve aging in our lifetimes?
A plausible series of steps from where we are today, to a post-aging future?
We looked, but we couldn’t find one. So we decided to build one.
