@mcewenrobbie @kirstybaxter79 @SBSSport Robbie, thank you for your support of the Roxsolt team. You along with Matt and Phil know a whole lot more and give a stack more support to womens cycling than anyone!
@AusCyclingAus The great thing is, when it comes to creating change you can self nominate. Can women’s NRS teams start the same number of riders in a race as men’s NRS teams? Or does that need to go to a committee for consultation and decision?
@chloe_hosking @UCIWomenCycling @AusCyclingAus And the solution just make it mandatory to invite the top Continental team from each region to each WWT and Pro race and at least 2 teams from each region for .1 and .2 races.
@chloe_hosking Yes we need more non European teams but until race organiser start inviting a more diverse selection of teams it won’t make a difference.
@velonews The issue isn’t a lack of teams it’s a lack of invites to races for teams outside of Europe. Look at the start lists and it’s not because non Euro teams don’t exist (because they do) it’s because the race organisers didn’t invite them!
Hi @ruslankogan can you explain why your brands are spamming the heck out of one of my old mail boxes? I never subscribed and have 35 emails in 20 days from @Kogan@DickSmith and @MattBlattFurn with Matt Blatt having no unsubscribe link. It’s Illegal! @acmadotgov
So I have no idea how I’m meant to send a team to race somewhere that is a high risk LGA on one hand and has banned entry from Sydney on the other. This seems very much overlooked by the organisers. We can’t send a single staff member and only local riders.
It also seems organisers forget that NRS teams pay to race and most teams are managed by volunteers and we get nothing to help us manage these situations. a lot of NRS riders have casual jobs that they get no hours for when lockdowns get implemented which means no money 4 racing.
It blows my mind that Tour de Brisbane hasn’t lost its NRS status already. Brisbane LGA is a declared high risk LGA and is currently in lockdown. It’s not like a week will see every state change this to green when new cases are still being announced.
Having gone through emails and reported them all to ACMA it’s obvious that on or around the 9 June @Kogan started an email campaign using a list as I received a bunch of welcome emails on the 9th and 10th of June but I don’t use this email address and never subscribed @acmadotgov

Since we can’t race any @UCI_cycling races at the moment. Mostly because of a lack of invites (we have had 3 all year) the team has been racing men’s B grade club tours…. and winning. So I’m sure they will change the rules to stop that now as well.
It’s coming up to tax time in Australia. We are on a fund raising campaign to buy a team/ club camper. Racing bikes in Australia often involves starting and finishing in the middle of nowhere with no change facilities, no showers and limited toilets. https://t.co/Yj3KcLY3oC
I’m changing my bio to “cyber security strategist & Venture Capitalist investing in women’s cycling” as someone who has been losing money for the last 8 years I can’t wait for a women’s Tour de France 🥳
@AusCycInsider@KatherineLBates I think it’s a good concept to run an omnium format but 9 days right before Christmas and right after a lockdown was too long, the event cost too much (for us it was over $16k) & the event quality wasn’t there. All our feedback inc safety issues fell of deaf ears/ was dismissed.
@KatherineLBates@AusCycInsider Why is it that women even have to justify women’s racing? But it’s good to have a mix in distance and a variety of courses as that supports riders of different backgrounds such as sprinters and climbers and my favourite type of rider the splimber.
@AusCycInsider@KatherineLBates Finally when you’ve been given a bad deal and treated second for so long it’s really hard to get someone back into the sport for another round. How many more chances do you give someone who shows time and time again that they only have a women’s race because they have to?
