@OddCruise @VivianIfeomaOj @Nwamadi_ Calling "Ichi scarification" a Tattoo is almost an insult to its sacredness.
Indeed it's done by Umudioka people but pls don't call it a simple tattoo - it has a sacred pattern
@MondayCaroline@General_Somto Like I said, people from Orlu LGA are powerful ππͺ It's different from Greater-Orlu (Orlu Senatorial zone / Imo West)

@SamuraiSil@PrimusP67577@instablog9ja I hope u know u r not addressing a child.
In Nigeria's PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM of govt, a military Administrator (Dictator) is a Head of State & also Head of Govt - same as in Civil rule.
Tafawa Balewa was a Head of govt, while his deputy, Zik, was Head-of-State.
U shd Recalibrate
@PrimusP67577@SamuraiSil@instablog9ja To put it in context, the North has been in power for approximately 48 years since 1960. Nigeria, since independence in 1960, has existed for 65 years.
Do ur SUBTRACTION & deduce how long the South has been in power.
Some people just don't know the meaning of Federalism π
@wai_ay53320@InibeheEffiong Homeland Security is akin to interior security (it's US & UK's version of interior ministry), while National security includes both external & interior threats.
@MondayCaroline@General_Somto It'll be hard for him to win Hon. Canice Moore Nwachukwu in the primaries - who's a silent strong politician.
Candice Moore is from ORLU LGA, while CCP is from Orsu LGA. Know the difference - it usually determines who wins HoR
@NonsoUjubuchi @VivianIfeomaOj @simonateba The Oduduwa story is actually an Igbo story. It's about the division of Igbo clans after the great flood.
Oduduwa led other clans, like the Yorubas, away from autochthonous Igbos. Even Yoruba traditional rulers know this history.
Watch till the end

@kepukepunews Ignorant Pastor. The Igbo Tradition is distinctly different from his analogy. Igbo people by tradition are Kings and Queens, every man is the King of his household and so as Kings they converge as a community. The first ever constitution in history of humanity was written by Igbo

Today, it is with humility and a great sense of honour that I thank each and every one of the 166 WTO members for the consensus they achieved in supporting my reappointment! Thank you for the wonderful words of recognition and support. I donβt take this lightly. I also want to thank my colleagues in the Secretariat Staff for their dedication and hard work.
This is an enormous responsibility and I will redouble my efforts to work with each and every member to try and deliver the results this organization needs, including the necessary reforms to make it fit for 21st century challenges. Weβve done it before, we can do it again! I am also grateful to my family, my country, to the Africa Region, and to all my friends and colleagues from all over the world who have reached out with hundreds of congratulatory messages. Thank you for the recognition!
The recent call on X (formerly Twitter) for a protest under the hashtag #IgboMustGo, demanding the forced relocation of Igbo people from Lagos and other Southwest states, is deeply troubling and fundamentally opposed to the principles of unity and coexistence that define our nation. Such rhetoric is not only divisive but also endangers our peace and security, as our Constitution guarantees every Nigerian the right to live and work freely anywhere in the country.
History has shown us the consequences of allowing hatred and bigotry to fester, as seen in Rwanda. What began with inflammatory rhetoric led to devastating outcomes. We must learn from these lessons and act decisively.
I call on the Nigerian government and relevant authorities to take immediate and strong action against those inciting such hatred and division. It is imperative to investigate, arrest, and prosecute individuals promoting ethnic discrimination and violence. The rule of law must prevail, and those found guilty of incitement should face the full extent of legal consequences.
Nigeria's strength lies in its diversity, and we must resist any efforts to sow discord among our people. Lagos and the Southwest have long been melting pots of cultures where individuals from various backgrounds contribute to our collective growth and development. The Igbo community, along with all other ethnic groups, is an integral part of this vibrant mosaic.
I urge all Nigerians to stand united against this divisive rhetoric and to champion unity, tolerance, and understanding. Our future depends on our ability to live and work together harmoniously. The government and security agencies must act swiftly to protect this fundamental principle and ensure that every Nigerian can live free from fear of discrimination or persecution.
It is alarming that, five days after this threat emerged, there has been a troubling silence. Immediate action to arrest, investigate, and prosecute those behind this heinous agenda is crucial. This will serve as a deterrent to others who might consider pursuing similar paths that threaten our national security. -AA
