A message for my fellow Canadians. Very few things felt as good as hammering down the curve in BC. Please, have that tense chat wth the friends who 'think' they are tight, the boomers who are "done" with it and the young adults "just acting their age". We need to be all in.
170 people lost their lives in May due to a more toxic illegal drug supply. If you use illicit drugs, have a plan:
- Carry Naloxone
- Check your drugs
- Get this app: https://t.co/1BHlqc2zjM
- Discuss recovery options & safe prescription alternatives with a health care provider
Boards of Education throughout BC have faced an immense challenge in a changing world as they provide direction & ensure the continuity of learning for all learners in BC. Thank you for your commitment, and your focus. #InItTogether@BCSTA_News@BCSups

On June 1, parents will have the option of sending their children to school part-time, with new health and safety measures implemented. BC's Restart Plan outlines a gradual return to full-time classes by September, provided it is safe to do so. https://t.co/CLckQL4ctv #COVIDBC
From #bced Minister @Rob_Fleming:
“The decision around a broader reopening of schools is one that it’s wise to contemplate and imagine what it might look like. But it’s not prudent to give artificial dates or false hopes. The science will inform that, if and when it’s possible.”
I too am very concerned. The roads were very busy today and the parking lots full. Many people out walking in groups. Please people listen to our Dr Henry!
I’m profoundly troubled by what appears to b far 2 many people not taking @adriandix & Bonnie Henry’s directives seriously. I just walked out of a supermarket in N Van that was a gong show of 2 many people & no social distancing. We r at a critical time. #bcpoli 1/2
People all over BC have gone to extraordinary efforts to protect their families, our health care workers and our communities. This is the moment that will make the difference. We must each continue to do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19. #DoYourPartBC#COVIDBC
Do people really believe the PM can put a date on when this will end? Be real people. It is what it is. It is constantly evolving. No one really knows with certainty how this will all play out or how much time it will take (other than it will take a long time). #COVIDー19
Listen to Dr. Henry. There is so much misinformation out there. Listen to Dr. Henry. She is the expert voice. Opinion: Bonnie Henry is a calming voice in a sea of coronavirus madness /via @globeandmail https://t.co/kg77rw6JPn
