@SaraEisen@JoeSquawk That’s like saying anti-communism gives the people an out to be anti-Chinese. Yes, of course it can be but that doesn’t mean one should agree with Chinese policies for fear of being branded as a racist towards anyone Chinese.
@Apple please bring back phones with physical sims. eSIM is unreliable and susceptible to problems. Case in point: Nationwide SOS mode outage for all iPhone 16 (all eSIM) on Verizon wireless.
@KGWNews Everyone I know with physical sim is fine. People with eSims are having problems. I am going to switch or downgrade to a phone with physical sim next time.
@mariatad Start with developing a vibrant and unified capital and banking union. Encourage cross border telco consolidation. Fragmented national telcos are struggling with overwhelming debt. Need scale to continue investing in future.
@BBCWorld American businesses that are importing the goods will be hit hard. Unless you products are necessities, consumers will simply stop buying your product altogether. Consumers will have a hard time just paying for groceries,
@ppie_w@stephenhumble11@SawyerMerritt@Tesla@theXtakeover These are AI humanoid robots. They can learn to charge and repair themselves. They’d be smarter than most humans. AI is already being used to design and program in high tech firms. You just need unscrupulous actors to infect their learning and reasoning to create global chaos.
Reagan: "Thanks to each wave of new arrivals to this land of opportunity, we're a nation forever young, forever bursting with energy and new ideas...This quality is vital to our future...If we ever closed the door to new Americans, our leadership in the world would soon be lost."
@JDVance He has repeatedly explained that the uncertainties caused by the tariffs could potentially cause inflation. When pre-tariff inventory runs out, prices will rise. Many of the price hikes are starting July and will propagate through supply chain.
President Donald Trump has long advocated for keeping the US out of Middle Eastern wars. By joining Israel’s offensive against Iran, he is making a dramatic geopolitical u-turn. https://t.co/mq3oz1lcIw
@GuyZys@MIT Just saw the video. Inappropriate for a commencement speech. But all I heard was anti-Israeli military attack on Palestinians and doesn’t want MIT or America to be involved. How is this about Jews? Any criticism on Israeli military action is antisemitism?
@SullyCNBC If not for the crazy tariffs, there wouldn’t be any inflation risk and rates would have been cut already. Now, everyone’s raising prices so fed may need to raise rates. Of course, creating uncertainty and turmoil hurts the dollar and benefits crypto.
@piersmorgan It is always the few power hungry warmongers on both sides that use hatred to create excuses for conflict. They know they only can stay in power that way. I am sure the majority of people on both sides just want to live in peace.
@Kalypsus_ @PeterSchiff If it weren’t for the tariffs fiasco, there wouldn’t be fear for inflation spike and Fed would have cut rates already. Self-induced.
