Watching TV last night I was reminded that you can have bike racks on buses. They have them in Canberra. I’ve never understood why the PTA/Transperth are so opposed. If we are serious about getting people out of cars and on buses it should happen.

So it’s now 6 seats each for Libs and Nats. It all comes down to Kalamunda for the Libs to become the official Opposition. By convention the Speaker, if no clear result, will maintain the status quo. That means Nats remain the Opposition. #WAvotes

Churchland, Nedlands, Carine, Warren-Blackwood, Bateman, Geraldton, Scarborough, Albany, Dawesville, Darling Range, Kalamunda, Bicton, Kingsley - all blokes. MLC’s no better.

@G_Parker @JessicaPage7 @westaustralian I hope it will be a constructive Leg Council that acknowledges the Govts right to Government but also holds them to account. If they are just antagonistic to everything the Govt does, they won’t get a PBO but a constructive approach could quickly see a PBO established.

I don’t think it was called a PBO but pretty sure Tim Marney (with the clear permission of Treasurer Buswell) committed to an independent arms length costing process but Barnett stepped in and stopped it.
