Amist all this Tooro saga, here is one BIG Question?

WHAT HAPPENED TO TOORO CULTURE?

King Oyo spent much of his life outside the Kingdom to the extent of having another permanent home in Kampala, Buganda. His Sister Komuntale also seems to have nothing much attached to Tooro Culture that even his Lutoolo fluency is Questionable!

Then came the Succession: George Kamurasi, living in Britain with his white wife, was first selected but declined the offer; Edward Kijanangoma, whose current wife is from Teso and whose first wife was Rwandan, was then selected. Even royal elders now say he needs a Mutooro wife who understands Tooro culture.

Honestly, what do you mean that the next two people in succession line didn't marry Tooro ladies yet it's a major requirement before taking over Kingship? How were they Groomed, Who Groomed them and what have they been preparing for?

So I ask:

If those closest to the Tooro Throne are increasingly detached from Tooro language, lifestyle, family traditions and daily life in Tooro, are we really preserving Tooro culture or simply Preserving a Crown, Titles & Ceremonies??

To me, I Believe that a culture that isn't Lived cannot survive on Speeches & Titles alone.
