@dalepartridge No. To believe that a child is able to accept the sacraments is to believe that their faith is not required for salvation. There are millions upon millions of baptized infants who have never made a profession of faith and are not saved. Is it the parent’s faith that saved them?

They are not optional, yet indeed they are to be given with a willing heart. God commands our love and submission to Him but does not coerce them. He will judge us.
