She had been doing therapy to help her release her frustrations and burden of never winning a major and says that freed her up to finally win one. She beat 4 top 10 players in route, only the second time thats ever been done. Had 5 three set matches during the tournament. Just kept plugging away. @AmericanExpress is very disappointing. I disputed a charge with @Vimeo in April 24 from a February charge. #amex sent me a letter on 4/8/24 that they credited the charge and if the vendor contacts them they will send me another email. I just reconcilled the AMEX account for the year and I am off by that amount. It only showed on the April statement as a credit and they never sent me an email to say they re-instated it. They said they did on April 15th - according to a chat today - but the only email I got was a survey about the dispute! Also, did you know that #AMEX allows charges to come in on old credit card numbers? They also allow charges using expired expiration dates to come in as well. Who does that? You have to manually request to block the old credit card numbers - have had a few over the years for my business AND request they block the expired expiration dates. I would think best practices would be to ALWAYS do that! Then the merchant has to contact the customer and update the billing informaiton. No wonder so many people have problems with recurring charges. Do other companies do all this? Their websites say mostly no. figured maybe expired card but old numbers as well? Have to close the account period to clear the slate I guess. Checking some credit card sites the expired card date is not supposed to work nor should the old cards that have been cancelled for the same account. Why does #AMEX allow this? I am reconsidering all my business with #AmericanExpress. All the old stuff should be blocked by default and allowed if manually requested, not the other way around. Plus terrible notifications! How many charges did you pay that you are not aware of? #vimeo doesn't even send me a receipt nor reach out to a disputing customer. There is no account on their bill to AMEX. I had disputed that the year before and thought it was resolved for good. Must be from an old client's account.

It should be interesting after Jan 20th in some cities:
Title 8, United States Code, 1324 (iii), and what it says is it’s a felony if you knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien from immigration authorities. It is also a felony to impede a federal law enforcement officer.
