@KabiPlays Nintendo at its most dangerous is when it has solid third party support like this (on top of its own software that can carry a whole platform on its own).
@TheNCSmaster Enjoy man. I want to try out Trails myself since word-of-mouth has been so positive. I'll pick up the first game after I'm done with Fortune's Weave
Capcom ports on Switch 2:
"They just work"
Broken record but, optimization specifically for Switch 2 is really going to be the key factor in how much profits devs want to make.
Another game that ran like Dog shit at launch and is now fixed because The Switch 2 forces the devs to go back and optimize and again everyone wins. Remember kids optimization is always key.
@Attackdabacklog Give it time. I think we'll eventually see a better split for Switch 2 multiplat software. Games like Onimusha have been heavily associated with Sony's box since inception too, which is a factor as well.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Analysis from Digital Foundry:
- 1080p
- 60 FPS
- No DLSS
- Visuals are in-house or from a partner engine, not Unreal Engine 5. They speculate it could be Monolith Soft.
