Before the 1970s, everyone was hot & healthy. People ate more, smoked more, and exercised less.
And they still managed to stay fit and healthy without going low carb, avoiding dessert, or fasting.
But since then, obesity has increased almost 5x. Here's what went wrong:
12 years ago today I saved my wife’s life by making the choice to end my daughter’s. @arhennrich had a placental abruption and I had to make a split second decision to abort Addison and save Amber. If lawyers would have been needed to be consulted before care was given Amber would be dead and I wouldn’t have Braydon and Brynlee. Proper available reproductive care creates my family. I will do everything I can to make sure that choice is available to all who need it. No one is pro-abortion, but being pro-choice is the true way to be pro-life. #BodilyAutonomy is about allowing patients and their families make decisions with medical providers based on their situation. We must restore Federal protections for all to see their DR without interference. If you agree or disagree please share our story. Being open is the only way we can have a discussion on topics like this.
The mass shooter in Maine received a command referral to a military hospital over the summer after saying he was “hearing voices and wanted to hurt his fellow soldiers.”
He spent weeks under evaluation… and a few months later, he was able to legally purchase the weapon he used to slaughter 18 people.
If this is about “mental health” and not guns, why would you give someone struggling with their mental health… a gun?
The U.S. self-reported rate of mental health distress is similar to Canada’s (27%) and Sweden’s (24%). And yet…
Annual gun homicides:
Canada: 300
Sweden: 60
United States: 15,500
It’s the guns.
@PhillyCrimeUpd Any idea if these carjackings are happening as people return to their car? Are they happening on the street, parking garages? Scary how many are happening every day in the city
