@danwhitejr I think branding and marketing/advertising are super important. BUT discipleship and prayer are the integrity that allow you to maintain the growth that great advertising brings. If you advertise you might bring in people but with no substance you won’t keep them.

@JoyTaylorTalks @HunterMitchell6 I looked into the UFC bylaws a number of years ago when people wanted him fired for the fight card shenanigans. he’s untouchable if no criminal charges are pressed. Sounds wrong but that’s what the UFC ownership agreed to when they made him president AND commissioner.

@bethallisonbarr I’m a pastor, for pastors we have to understand we are scrutinized at a completely different level than a normal guy. We CANT have female friendships like that. And with the crap some of the mega pastors have pulled. Everyone is looking for an opportunity to take down a pastor.

Churches are imperfect because people are imperfect. Only churches that have the chance of perfection are ones that have no people in them.

Nothing wrong with looking for the “right fit” when it comes to a church, just don’t fall into the lie that you will find a perfect one.

Gossip is gossip. Doesn’t matter who it’s too or even if it’s true. Put a stop to it or the next person being talked about might be you. (I didn’t mean for that to rhyme but it did so there is that)
