The fact that this is considered “breaking with his own party” is just another of the problems with the state of our govt and it’s been that way for longer than I’d care to admit. His only allegiance is the sworn oath to the Constitution, and therefore, the people.

7 Republicans voted NO.
6 Democrats voted YES.
This $1.1 trillion dollar military budget contains Sec 219 that ties our military intelligence and military industrial base to Israel.
Now it goes to the Senate.

The NDAA will receive a recorded vote tomorrow with section 219 in it. I’ll vote no.

Though my amendment to strike $3.3 billion in aid to Israel from the State Dept Approps bill did not pass, 104 House Members voted in favor of it. The tide is changing.

Americans want their tax dollars to be spent improving things here at home, not waging war and genocide.
