Not even an apology can undo how certain people made me feel. Some damage ain't about words, it's about patterns, disrespect, and seeing people for who they really are.
I think the best thing I'm learning as an adult is to ignore people. When you realize people say & do weird & evil things to get a reaction out of you, you learn that silence is more powerful than proving a point. No response is the loudest response. The moment you respond people start feeling important & think they bigger than the program but I control the traffic
WOMAN TO WOMAN: Date sweet men. Men who are calm. Men who can communicate well. Men who are patient with you. Men who respect both you and themselves. Men who are kind to you. Men that are gentle. Men have have self control.
and if love ever finds me again, i hope it's with someone who thinks about how their actions affect me,someone who considers my feelings before making choices and values my peace as much as their own because I'm not here to survive love again, I'm here to finally live it
i don't like people who can't put their pride aside. Like pleaseee apologize, say you fucked up and you miss me or you wanna be in my life again. Life's too short, grow up
I know my worth in every aspect of life. I’ve settled a lot giving people, situations, and opportunities more chances than they deserved. But at some point you have to stop just knowing your worth and start living it.
