Outstanding work on a year-long investigation from our Hickory Grove Division Crime Reduction Unit!

Hickory Grove CRU officers and detectives originally began investigating brothers Alan Cruz, 21, and Sergio Cruz, 22, over their involvement in an armed robbery.

Through multiple traffic stops and surveillance, officers observed drug trafficking activity centered around the brother’s residence. On February 27, 2024 officers executed a search warrant of the residence.

Officers spent several hours searching the debris-filled home and seized eight firearms, various amounts of narcotics and over $18,000 in cash.
The seizures from this investigation are as follows:

(1) Folding Rifle
(1) Shotgun (serial number filed off)
(2) Assault Rifle (Uppers)
1,602.4g (3.5lbs) Marijuana
15.0g Mushrooms
82.2g MDMA
2.2g Heroin
22.7g Oxycodone
8.8g Cocaine
$18,844.00 U/S Currency

Both Alan Cruz and Sergio Cruz were arrested and charged with multiple counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute, Felony Possession of Heroin and Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction x2.
