Without being specific, my advice to young people starting out:
1. Trust your instincts, even when they feel unreasonable
2. Be bold: the world bends to courage
3. Train eagle eyes to spot opportunities others miss
4. Outwork everyone in the room
Thats how I got ahead early in my career.

This is extremely sad!! God rest his soul. That was how I took up a Pro Bono matter earlier this year and one day the complainant called me to say my client must pay him the money by all means whether my client likes it or not.
