@Elara_Raven Is the Pope Catholic?

[Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex]

Intelligence must draw on memory. The mind must not simply compile data — as an algorithm now does more quickly than we can — but recall lived experiences, which contain depths of meaning that only the human soul can recognize, and connect more deeply with the goodness of these experiences. Everything that is good begins “with the Spirit” and thus possesses a breath, a dynamism and a sense of communion that, once experienced, are engraved upon the heart. https://t.co/Ij21tkb3qT

[Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex]

In an age dominated by technology, in which efficiency and profit often take precedence, it is so important that we continue to cultivate a spirit of contemplation and allow time and space for beauty. Such an attitude will greatly help humanity, especially young people, to discover the ability of art to uplift and reveal the depths of the human spirit and our openness to the divine. Contemplation presents a marvelous opportunity to encounter the God who is Beauty.

[Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex]

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Showing off some redesigns for the main cast of my very WIP webcomic, Half Angel Wayfarer! I intend to make proper reference sheets of the two, but I couldn't keep these designs behind the curtain for much longer!

[Coyote vs. ACME @CoyoteACMEMovie]

Due to pressure from ACME’s pro-arachnid lobby, we’d like to issue the following correction.

Rest in peace to one of the voices of my childhood. A voice who has touched many hearts, including my own, and created one of the most iconic and memorable characters of all time.

Many condolences to his family, and may Peter Cullen rest easy.

@LOTR_Daily_ Martin Freeman as Bilbo is genuinely one of the best casting choices in the history of film.

Mosaic Hops, or Hops for short, is an OC I've had for a while. In the setting of Eavitope, he's a traveling slimefolk/oozeling alchemist who travels the world and sells the potions he brews. He then uses most of his funds on pancakes.
