@NiohBerg The underlying issue is the leniency of sentencing, not race or nationality.
If we care about protecting women and kids the jail terms should be significantly longer.
@KevinJPringle I think the consistent actions of aggression by Russia towards neighbouring states and its funding to destabilise nations, inc UK where it killed a dissident with polonium, makes an overwhelming case.
No guarantee the Putin’s successor will be better.
And then there’s the USA…
@scotball_ With good assistants in place, I’d be happy if he did the job part-time for a year.
Unfashionable as it may be, I’d like to see some ‘B’ internationals played. Chance to get some prospects, irrespective of age, playing to evaluate, give experience, build understanding…
@pieandbov 100%
Finals have been disappointing, and Clarke has a share in that, it’s the blazers that concern me most.
He did show what we can do in the DK match and we went to the WC as group winners from the third pot.
Time to part ways but Clarke leaves us better than when he started.
@joebloggsuk1 Lost.
Things so negative around him the whole atmosphere will be poisonous.
Won’t help the players or team perform.
Won’t be nice for Clarke, either, on a personal level. He has a lot to offer but no longer in this job.
Whoever backed his 4-year deal should also be cleared out.
@JamesG4L@WafflesInfo It was. TBF to GKs, sheer ball speed can beat the best.
Watch the goal from behind. Gunn’s reaction is fast and good. If his hand position is up closer to shoulders, he’s got a high chance of a solid touch and likely save.
With 3 GKs with little game time, Gordon the best pick.
@WafflesInfo@JamesG4L No GK with hands where Gunn had them when the shot was hit would have saved it.
Hard low shot to far post every GK would stick out their right leg, not dive to parry. Shot at mid-height, go with hand.
Had his hands been higher, much more likely to save.
Asleep, like Hanley.
@SPFL_Fitba_Fan While there’s no doubt there are more strong national teams than a few decades ago, the fact Willie Ormond is still our most successful Finals manager is a disgrace.
Clarke and his assistants carry so much baggage the negative feeling towards them makes it harder for the team.
