Moments ago, I personally reached out to Daniel Wong to congratulate him on his victory in the Republican primary for Fort Bend County Judge.
Daniel, I want you to know that my support, energy, and resources are available to you as you head into November. Fort Bend County deserves strong, ethical leadership, and I will do everything in my power to help deliver that. If you need me, I'm here. Let's win in November together.

I also want to recognize Daryl Aaron, Melissa Wilson, and yes, even KP George; each of you stepped into the arena, put your names on the line, and gave this county a real choice. That takes courage. We may have competed on the ballot, but we all share a love for Fort Bend County, and I respect each of you for running hard and running well.

Now, let me speak to the people who carried me through this journey.

To my beautiful wife, you are my rock, my peace and calm, my everything. You have stood beside me through every late night, every moment of doubt, and every moment of triumph. You sacrificed more than anyone will ever know, and you never once hesitated. I love you more than words can describe.

To my children, Daddy did this for YOU. Every door I knocked on, every hand I shook, every mile I drove across this county, it was to build a better Fort Bend for our future. You inspire me every single day, and I pray that you understand someday that when God puts something on your heart, you STEP OUT IN FAITH, no matter the odds. Never be afraid to run your race.

To my beloved mother, everything I am, everything I will ever be, started with you. Your prayers covered me. Your strength raised me. Your faith built the foundation that carried me through this entire campaign. Thank you, Mama.

To my volunteers, donors, and grassroots supporters, oh my God, where do I even BEGIN? You knocked on doors in the heat. You made phone calls until your voices gave out.
