@mcdermottkc_ @DavidLammy Taking juries away won’t speed up the time it takes the police and CPS to get the case to court. Ask any solicitor firm in the country how many clients they have that have been under investigation for more than 2yrs for serious sexual offences and see what they say!

@MoJGovUK @sarahsackman This is down to the police/CPS. They are to blame for length of time it takes for a case to go to court. Keeping someone under investigation for over 2/3yrs (it happens, ask a defence solicitor) is not fair on suspects or victims. Have time limits on offences against the person

@DavidLammy Clueless! Massive delays are caused by the police not doing ‘prompt & effective’ investigations. I know of people who have been under investigation for over 2yrs! You talk about victims but what about innocent suspects? You can’t stop a trial by peers for Govt failings!

@MayorofLondon Where do you get your info?! You’ve clearly never been in a police station. I enter them daily in my work & they are packed. People are always frustrated when there’s often only one officer dealing with counter queries. Perhaps do a way with the police altogether!

@LloydsBank is there an issue with your app. I haven’t been able to get in to the lloyds app on my iPad for the last two days. I’ve offloaded the app and reinstalled it, I’ve cleared the cache, turned if offhand on again but it still doesn’t work
