Even if Catholic images are supposed to depict God, they are all still WRONG.

Here in Exodus, Aaron claims that this idol brought Israel out of Egypt and proclaimed a feast to the Lord.

Exo 32:4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

In Deuteronomy 4, God tells Israel they didn’t see him LEST they create an image.

Deu 4:15 Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
Deu 4:16 Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

Romans 1 describes those who change the glory of the invisible God into an image of man.

Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

In 1 Corinthians 5 the Bible commands churches to kick out anyone called a “brother” who commits idolatry. That means it’s someone claiming Christianity.

1Co 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

There’s a reason men like Moses, David, Asa, Hezekiah and Jehu ALL destroyed idols, because they’re evil and antithetical to God’s law. A church that smashes idols is following a Biblical pattern.

Catholics, who don’t give a rip about what the Bible says, attempt to argue with scripture itself by appealing to the cherubims and the serpent on a pole.

These are called EXCEPTIONS.

In one case, to illustrate salvation by faith alone (which Catholics REJECT anyway).

And in another case, as part of the Old Testament tabernacle which was a pattern (given by direct revelation) of heavenly things and no longer exists. The Cherubim statues were NOT in public view, they were inside the holiest of all which can only be accessed by the High Priest on the Day of Atonement.

Catholics, in contrast, make an image of what they call “Jesus” (which is really a random, long-haired, effeminate man) and some random white chick they call “Mary,” anoint them and bow down to them and they expect the rest of us to play along and DEFY scripture in the process.

Well, not me and not my church.

I stand against the pagan idolatry of the Catholic Church and I will continue to do so even if they cry and whine in response. Because that’s all they can do, cry and whine and freak out about BIBLE TRUTH.

My hope is that Catholics turn from their pagan false religion to the true and living God and actually trust the gospel of Christ to save them.

Because ultimately - there is NO salvation inside the Catholic cult. Flee Catholicism, and flee idolatry.
