For Kenya to achieve its aspiration of healthcare without financial hardship for it's citizens, Healthcare should be financed. Medical Claims should not be weaponized, behind each clean claim is a patient who had a life saving procedure, there is a doctor and nurse who did their very best, there are workers with families. There are suppliers with their entrepreneurship dreams hanging in the balance. Valid liabilities worth Kshs 33B owed to providers remain unpaid for more than 36 months since they were incurred and almost one year into the SHA Transition. We humbly appeal on behalf of Kenyan patients, healthcare workers and entrepreneurs for the @MOH_Kenya and @StateHouseKenya our President @WilliamsRuto to settle all pending NHIF bills and alleviate the suffering in the sector. @HonAdenDuale @KenyaMedics_KMA @TheKOGSociety @Cofek_Africa @_shakenya
