It is important to be confident in yourself and who you are instead of trying to fit into a particular stereotype or social class. Being kind, respectful, and empathetic towards others is more important than trying to portray a certain image.
@MorbidKnowledge This is a reminder to every employer: process matters. A simple fact-check before punishment could have saved a career, a relationship, and the companys reputation. Respect and due process should never be optional
Sometimes when I see petty traders, I do mental calculation of their entire goods and pity them.
A roadside corn seller that faces heat and smoke all day to sell only 100 pieces of corn at N300 each = N30,000. Turnover. Not profit.
I feel some pity.
Then I remember my own company's annual turnover is another person's gift.
I hold at least 100 meetings in a year, travel every other week, coordinate a team of 30, run calculations, promote the business every day online, strategize, sometimes sleepless nights, hire tax consultants, among others.
All the above stress to generate the revenue.
And someone else will casually give someone a gift that is worth that annual revenue.
I just think to myself, "Pity the woman, but someone else is pitying you too for doing all that just to generate an amount the person can dash someone in a day".
Life na level by level.

Good evening to all Progressives only
This is me during my Shell Recruitment Day in November 2011.
1hr after the whole day group interview, I got the phone call I can never forget, “Congratulations, they all loved you. When can you start?”
If you have an upcoming group interview where they put a bunch of you together in a room and give you a task to work on together, then sit up.
I will tell you my secrets.
I don’t need them anymore and it can help you land your dream job.
They are what I used during my SRD.
I have given the same playbook to many mentees who used them to land their dream jobs in various companies.
So, trust me, this works.
A 🧵
@fimiletoks The Chagoury Group has been part of Nigeria's development story long before Tinubu was even in the picture. Different administrations, same commitment.
Dear PDP senators, only one thing we ask of you.
Block the nomination of that drunkard called Lauretta Onochie as INEC Commissioner. Don’t be unfortunate please.
The very unique thing about President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT is that he fought from the deep end of opposition to become President of Nigeria and today, he has totally flipped the script on the PDP which could not outfox him as the only surviving opposition Governor in the South-West in 2007.
Therefore, every step the opposition takes today and every strategy they adopt is from the playbook of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He knows and understands every single step against him before they even conceive it.
You cannot beat the master at his own game; you cannot outfox the man who taught almost all of us how to play opposition politics; he is 100 steps ahead of all of them.
@kenkenlewu This shouldn’t cause any family issues if your brother handled it well. How did your dad even find out about the slot? He didn’t have to tell him, especially since he wanted it for his girlfriend.
@renoomokri A thoughtful and well-detailed breakdown. You’ve touched on some hard truths many people avoid, especially around productivity, personal responsibility, and the need to align population growth with economic output.
@vahphor Was there any clear agreement from the start?
Did he specify the type of bus, expcted returns, ownership share,or how the money should be used, orwas your brother given full freedom to decide?Because if expectations weren’t clearly defined upfront, then there shouldn't be any waala
@renoomokri You have to acknowledge forward-thinking leadership when you see it. The steps taken by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, from pushing CNG adoption to strengthening state allocations and stabilizing the naira, show clear preparation for global setback.
