This tracks with what I saw firsthand. Worked as an automation analyst on a project with two Black-owned banks to streamline their processes, and the resource gap was real.

Real talk, there’s only like 20-25 Black-owned banks left in the whole country. When two of them die, that’s a loss. But two of them choosing to combine on purpose? That’s a power move most people are gonna sleep on.
