Grateful for a Wonderful Celebration! ✨ On Saturday, May 30, friends, colleagues and fellow Aggies gathered at the Pan American Center to celebrate the naming of the Shari Jones Conference Room, honoring Shari Jones ’80 ’81 and her extraordinary impact on New Mexico State University.

Among those in attendance was former @NMStateMBB head coach 🏀 Marvin Menzies (2007–2016), who joined in recognizing this special milestone.

A devoted alumna and steadfast champion of Aggie Athletics and academic excellence, Shari’s leadership, philanthropy and lifelong commitment to #NMSU were front and center during remarks and a special unveiling in the NM State Basketball Coach’s Office Suite.

The celebration continued with mimosas 🥂 and hors d’oeuvres as guests shared stories and reflected on the legacy Shari continues to build.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in recognizing this meaningful milestone, and especially to Shari Jones, whose enduring Aggie spirit ✨ will inspire generations to come!
