My mom planted the seeds of my rebellious side when I was in middle school. She didn't care that grades were already finalized, she pushed me to do everything I could to get a little extra credit even though the semester was already over.
My next video will be less focused on me and my life and will be about something that I think will be more interesting to more people than a story from my life.
This is episode 2 of my becoming a creator series. It’s still not very good, but I am improving! There’s an extended version on YouTube if you’d like to see it.

If you’ve known me for a while you’ve probably heard me talk about Japan or Korea at some point. I can’t help it, both places changed my life! This is my first real attempt to capture some of my life changing trip to Japan.
It was the perfect way to experience the culture and practice the language.
My favorite part of the whole experience was talking with everyone at night during and after the family dinner. I showed them how to make S’mores and they taught me Japanese.
Thankfully after a few days, one family got back to me and said I could come live with them and work in their peach orchard in exchange for a bed and home cooked meals.
When I landed, all I knew was my friend had recommended something called WWOOF Japan so once I landed and made it to my hostel I looked it up and started messaging local farmers.
