No political affiliation, don't even vote, advocating fairness, honesty in media & politics. Former Liberal party member who left as it was more about winning
@Rufus28556882 He was lone dissenter - many have had to replace this specific plumbing and he decided to fight it and lost in court. Legal fees are huge. He made poor decisions. Hiding lien from buyers until they put in offer shows further poor decisions.
Stuart Benson (@LeftHandStu) trying to spar with Pierre Poilievre like it's his life's mission, and he gets owned
Funny how that same fire doesn't seem to ignite when questioning Carney, his cabinet, or the NDP
'Non-partisan journalist' they said. Must be the selective adrenaline
Hill Times: where 'holding the opposition to account' has a preferred address
Carney gets snarky with women. Poilievre gets combative with the fact deprived
@prairiecentrist An economy shrinking is bad. The fact that our population growth is falling faster than our economy shrinking is really bad.
This very account argued that per capita was not the correct measure when it worked against the Liberals.
But Trudeau said there was no business case…this is very good news. The sad reality is that GNL Quebec was tailor made for this deal but a lack of vision in Ottawa and Quebec City set us back a decade.

@prairiecentrist Funny you criticize conservatives and never consider circumstances have changed. But Liberals? As usual with you they get a free pass.
@IndubitablyTho@cbcwatcher I find the ad really ignorant of the reality. To pretend we can just build everything ourselves is just not true and we are not “crushing it”.
@p1huycke@KristinRaworth A family earning the same as another family should pay the same tax, not have it based on whether the two partners are in the same tax bracket or not. We dish out the child benefit based on family income. Why not pay taxes the same based on family income.
@p1huycke@KristinRaworth This is about fairness. If the 15% of households is correct then 15% are being treated unfairly. You are okay with treating some families unfairly because there is only a minority of them? If both partners are in the same tax bracket it doesn’t matter. But if not it is unfair
@JJNHLNFLetc@KristinRaworth Simple example. Family earning 80k (not rich), split 60/20. Another family earning 80k split 40/40. First family pays 1000 MORE in taxes than second. Income splitting was about fairness and treating them the same. We use family income for benefits, why not for taxes too.

@DougEyolfson@KristinRaworth Under Liberals families where both partners earned 95k each (190k in total) benefits and paid less taxes than other families earning 190k. Don’t forget that income splitting was capped at 2k so that it benefited lower income the most. Think rather than just spout talking points.
